Call for Nominations: Help Shape the Future of ORNAO Leadership

The Operating Room Nurses Association of Ontario (ORNAO) is now accepting nominations for open leadership positions for the 2025 term!

This is your opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the advancement of perioperative nursing in Ontario by joining the ORNAO Board of Directors.

Available Positions:

Regional Representative Positions

1. LORNA ( LAKEHEAD OPERATING ROOM NURSES ASSOCIATION)

2. L&DORNA ( LONDON & DISTRICT OPERATING ROOM NURSES ASSOCIATION)

3. NOORNA ( NORTHERN ONTARIO periOPERATIVE REGISTERED NURSES ASSOCIATION)

4. WDPONA (WINDSOR & DISTRICT periOPERATIVE NURSES ASSOCIATION)

Term: 2 years, commencing Sept. 01 2025 with opportunity to run for an additional 2 year term.

Executive Board Positions

The following ORNAO Executive positions are open:

• President-Elect

• Treasurer

Term: 2 years with opportunity to run for an additional 2 years.

Nominations Deadline: June 30 , 2025

Qualifications:

1. Must be a member of ORNAC/ORNAO

2. Must be a Perioperative  Registered Nurse who is working in the perioperative setting

3. Not an employee or representative of a company whose primary business involves the development, manufacture and sole distribution of products in the field operating room care

4. The individual cannot be a consultant of ORNAO.
