ORNAO is a volunteer association that represents Registered Nurses as direct care practitioners, administrators, educators, and/or researchers practicing perioperative nursing in the province of Ontario.

Membership Definition of Perioperative Nurse
A perioperative nurse is a Registered Nurse whose primary professional focus is to educate, manage and/or deliver nursing care to a human patient undergoing a surgical intervention, immediately preoperatively, intraoperatively, and immediately postoperatively.
Registration Types and Fees
Regional Membership shall be maintained in only one Regional Association.

Registration Year
As a rolling membership, the registration shall run 365 days from the date you register or renew your membership.

Members can join online safely and securely through the ORNAC national website in just a few simple steps by clicking here. Before registering, please be sure to have the following information on hand: CNO Registration Number, CPN(C) Certification Number & Year (if applicable) and RNAO Number (if applicable).
