Diane has been a Registered Nurse for over 48 years. Always working in acute care, her roles have included Float Nurse, Staff Nurse Operating Room, Specialty Team Coordinator, Nurse Manager, Director of Perioperative Services, Perioperative Educator and Laser Safety Officer. Diane is a legacy member of AORN having been a member for over 48 years, holding offices on the local level.
Diane has presented in the areas of Perioperative Pressure Injury Risk reduction both nationally and internationally.
Diane has presented many posters and has published many articles for nursing journals including the AORN Journal. Now retired from active nursing, Diane audits the Einstein PPI program and works closely with the perioperative and wound care teams to assure that the program is still relevant, and the bundle is being maintained.
