Joanna Dziewaltowska earned her Master of Adult Education, Workplace and Adult Learning specialization from University of Calgary and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Toronto Metropolitan University.  Joanna completed the post graduate perioperative program at Centennial College in 2008.

Joanna has started her perioperative nursing career at the Toronto Western Hospital where she specialized in Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Spine surgeries as well as General Surgery.  In 2012 Joanna earned her Canadian Perioperative certification.  Since then Joanna has participated in a teaching mission in Ethiopia and in the grand opening of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.  She currently works at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto as a resource nurse for General and Endocrine Surgery.  Joanna is a passionate adult educator who strongly believes in ORNGT’s imperative role in providing education opportunities for all perioperative nurses in the Greater Toronto Area.
