SCORNA was founded in 2005 and is made up of five regional hospitals. Dryden (Dryden Regional Health Centre), Fort Frances (La Verendrye Hospital), Kenora (Lake of the Woods District Hospital), Red Lake (Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital) and Sioux Lookout (Meno Ya Win Health Centre) all make up SCORNA.
I have been an OR nurse since 2010 and completed my Canadian certification CPN(C) in 2015. I have been acting as the president/ regional representative for SCORNA since 2016. I am extremely passionate about perioperative nursing. Please join us at ORNAO and help build a great association full of colleges and education for all members!
