The objectives of ORORNA are: To promote the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC) standards for optimum patient care in the perioperative phase. To provide perioperative nurses throughout the region with opportunities for continuous professional growth and development by means of meetings and/or seminars. To cooperate with other professional associations, hospitals, educational establishments, and community agencies in matters affecting the professional standings, purpose, and growth of ORORNA.
